Berrimah Road speed limit change

The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure is improving safety across Territory roads for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians by implementing compatible and credible speed limits as per national best practices.

Findings of recent reviews recommend the current speed limit on Berrimah Road to be modified to reduce risk and provide further consistency with speed limits in the area.

The following speed limit change is now in effect, as of Saturday 18 January 2025.

Berrimah Road	Existing speed limit	New speed limit
Between Stuart Highway and the overpass	70km/h	60km/h

Road users are encouraged to please observe and adhere to all speed limits and drive with care.
