Gorrie River Road Upgrade and Seal

The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure is (DLI) is undertaking upgrades to Gorrie Dry River Road in the Katherine Region.
Works are scheduled to commence in October 2025, with anticipated completion by April 2026.
The works will take place approximately 15km from the Victoria Highway intersection. Construction works include but are not limited to:
- earthworks
- pavement works
- stormwater drainage
- bitumen spray sealing works
- installation of guard rails
- road furniture
- provision for line marking.
On completion, these upgrades will improve sight distance, strengthen and widen the carriageways and improve safety for heavy vehicles and other road users.
Road users are asked to comply with all traffic management and signage in place.
