NT digital driver licence

The Northern Territory Government is developing a digital driver licence for Territorians.

The NT digital driver licence will be a digital version of the physical licence, giving eligible NT licence holders a secure and convenient way to carry and use their licence on their smartphone.

Using the digital driver licence will be optional - the physical licence card is also here to stay.

It’s expected to be available by late 2026.
