Stuart Highway and Bagot Road - Guardrail Installation

The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure (DLI) is installing a road safety barrier at the Stuart Highway left turn lane onto Bagot Road.

The works will improve road user and pedestrian safety.

Works include:

• installation of a guardrail barrier and terminals
• construction of a concrete strip footing for the barrier, including associated excavation works
• construction of a concrete infill extension to fit between the new barrier’s strip footing and existing footpath, including associated excavation works
• removal of existing irrigation line
• relocation of a road sign.

Works are expected to begin from 2 November and be completed by mid December 2026, weather permitting.
