Gifts and benefits declaration

With the festive season now in full swing, clients, stakeholders and contractors are reminded that our staff are unable to accept gifts and benefits.

Under the department's gift and benefits policy, all staff must not seek or accept any payment, gift or benefit which is intended to, or that could reasonably be perceived by an impartial observer to, influence them to act in a particular way.

Even in circumstances where the gift or benefit has been declined, staff must complete a declaration form to record the decision on the department’s gifts and benefits register.
