Impacts to bus services
The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure would like to advise there will be impacts to bus services on Monday 20 October due to protected industrial action.

Urban services
Urban bus services in Greater Darwin, including Palmerston and rural, will not operate from 12am on Monday 20 October 2025 for 24-hours, due to a stoppage of work.
All other NT bus services in Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Jabiru and Batchelor will run as usual.
Students
Students who rely on urban services for travel to and from school will be unable to access these services. This includes students who use urban services to travel to an interchange in order to connect with dedicated school bus services.
Dedicated school bus services, including special needs services, will continue to operate as normal.

Hospital shuttle
The hospital shuttle bus will continue to run between the Royal Darwin Hospital and Palmerston Regional Hospital. To use the service, you must be a patient or approved escort who is travelling for a medical appointment.
The service can't cater for electronic wheelchairs or mobility scooters.
