Major progress in headworks construction at Holtze Development Area
Headworks Part A construction at the Holtze Development Area has passed 70% completion - a key milestone in the project’s advancement.
Key highlights include:
- Asphalt works on Glyde Point Road are complete, with duplication progressing well along Linco Road.
- All stormwater works have been finalised.
- Sewer works on Linco Road are finished and progressing next to Palmerston Regional Hospital.
- So far supported 65 local jobs, including 21 Aboriginal Territorians.
Supporting Territory businesses by utilising locally sourced products, such as prefabricated stormwater and sewer pits.
We’re proud to partner with AKJ Services - a 100% female owned, Larrakia Indigenous owned, managed, and operated civil and landscaping construction company. Since commencing in November 2024, AKJ Services has played a crucial role in advancing this project.
Next steps include the design of the second stage of enabling infrastructure works which are now obtaining authorities approvals, with works expected to commence in late 2025.
The Holtze Development Area is a part of the HomeGrown Territory housing initiative, with participation incentives now open.
