Trial booking system
The Motor Vehicle Registry is trialling a booking system for transactions that must be completed in person. The trial is for Darwin’s Goyder Road outlet and available for these transactions:
- interstate driver licence transfer
- interstate vehicle registration transfer
- overseas driver licence transfer
- learner driver licence – first time applicants only
Appointments will be available on weekdays from 9am to 3pm so you can select a time that works best for you.
Once you’ve booked your appointment, simply follow the signage to the dedicated appointment counter.
Don’t forget, many MVR services can be completed online or at Australia Post.
