2026 Alice Springs taxi licence ballots
Applications for the 2026 Alice Springs taxi licence ballots are now open to eligible applicants and close at 12 noon CST on 14 August 2026.
Applications will not be accepted after the scheduled closing date.
The ballots will seek to allocate the following Alice Springs licences:
- 3 standard taxis
- 3 multiple-purpose taxis
Applicants cannot submit multiple applications and can only apply to enter one of the ballots – either the ballot for a standard taxi licence or the ballot for a multiple-purpose taxi licence.
