East Arm businesses invited to Northern Marine Complex information session
Businesses and landowners in East Arm are invited to attend an on-site information session to hear about the next phase of development for the Northern Marine Complex.
Recently designated a Territory Development Area, the Northern Marine Complex will bring together the Darwin Ship Lift and Marine Industry Park into a single, coordinated maritime precinct at East Arm.
Spanning 246 hectares with road, rail and sea access, the precinct is designed to strengthen Darwin’s role as a strategic marine services hub supporting defence sustainment, offshore energy servicing, vessel maintenance and logistics.
By co-locating marine services, fabrication, engineering and logistics alongside the Ship Lift, the Northern Marine Complex will support the growth of a local industrial ecosystem and create long-term skilled jobs for Territorians while reinforcing the Territory’s position as a gateway for marine services in Northern Australia.
