Parap Preschool redevelopment
The Northern Territory Government has completed the redevelopment of the Parap Preschool, providing improved functionality for students, teachers and families.
The redeveloped site provides a preschool teaching and learning environment with contemporary multipurpose spaces to support modern learning outcomes, fitted out with furniture, fixtures and equipment.
Focused on flexible and mix-mode learning opportunities inside and out, the new preschool features, including:
- 2 classrooms linked by a multipurpose central node outdoor learning and play spaces
- administrative space including office, storage, staff preparation room and internal and external staff break-out zones
- a welcoming entry zone via a secure outdoor courtyard leading into the internal foyer and parent alcove
- carpark with 18 bays.
The project was delivered by local Territory company, Jaytex Construction, and more than 70 Territory contractors and suppliers who worked on the redevelopment.
The preschool will be open to students for Term 1 2026.
