Taxi services – public survey

The Northern Territory Government remains committed to ensuring passengers are provided with safe, reliable and accessible transport options.

To understand customer satisfaction of the taxi industry and inform future improvements, the department is conducting a short survey on taxi services.

The survey is now open and closes on 18 May 2026.

Your feedback will help identify what is important to taxi customers, including:

  • safety
  • pricing
  • reliability
  • accessibility.

The survey is anonymous unless you choose to provide personal contact details.

The department would like to hear from taxi passengers and tourists, taxi drivers and operators, service providers and organisations who arrange this service to gain clearer insight into overall user experience with the industry.
