Temporary fuel cost escalation measures - phase 2
The Northern Territory Government is taking practical steps to support contractors facing impacts from fuel price volatility to help keep projects moving across the Territory.
The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure is implementing phase 2 of the temporary fuel cost escalation measures in response to continued fuel price pressures.
These measures are designed to help sustain industry capacity while ensuring responsible use of taxpayer funds. The approach is temporary, targeted and fair, using established contract mechanisms supported by strong governance.
